Connectivity
Soundbars can be connected via an Aux cable or via Bluetooth (we recommend the former).
Use an aux cable to connect to your soundbar.
You can connect your soundbar to your television or other devices with an auxiliary cable if you want an old-school experience. Even though aux cables use analog connections, your sound will still be of high quality; however, the audio will not be as straightforward as if you used HDMI or optical cables.
- Power on your TV and soundbar. Connect one end of the audio cable to the AUX IN jack on the bottom of the soundbar.
- On the external device, connect the AUDIO OUT jack to the other end of the audio cable.
- Using the remote or the soundbar, press the Source button to change the mode.
- Should set the soundbar to AUX mode. Your soundbar will now play TV sound.
Soundbars that can be connected via Bluetooth
Although the sound quality of Bluetooth isn’t as good as HDMI, most people love the convenience of not having to worry about cables. When there is a disruption, such as a power outage, Bluetooth connections can disconnect or become unstable. It is nevertheless nice to have Bluetooth as an option.
- On the remote control of the soundbar, press Pair to change the sound source. The display will show “BT” when its source is set to Bluetooth.
- Must press the source button on the soundbar until BT appears on the display if you do not have the soundbar remote.
- When the display changes to “BT Pairing” after a few seconds, it will try to find an accessible Bluetooth device.
Connect the soundbar to the TV via the TV remote and select the Connection Guide once the soundbar is in pairing mode. Afterward, select Bluetooth from the Audio Device menu. Make sure the TV remote is set to the Right, and you can go through the tutorial if you like. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the device via Bluetooth. Choose the device that you want to pair.
Then select Sound from the Settings menu. After selecting Sound Output Device, select Bluetooth Speaker List or Bluetooth Audio, depending on your TV model. In the last step, choose your soundbar. As a result, your soundbar will play Sound from your TV.

What kind of sound would you like?
Soundbars are designed to enhance your entertainment system’s audio. The question to ask when purchasing a soundbar is: how much enhancement do you need?
Samsung soundbars are fantastic, but some are genuinely excellent. The best thing you can do is to get one soundbar with Dolby Atmos.
It sounds like you’re watching a movie in the theater using Dolby technology. Dolby Atmos offers an immersive sound that envelops and even surrounds you, giving you the feeling of being right there in the action.

If a Dolby Atmos option accompanies a Samsung soundbar, it will facilitate sound traveling further. You may want to get some surround speakers or a subwoofer if you want to feel more immersed in your movies or music.
